Jesus challenges us to see marriage as a God-given covenant, calling us away from an “any reason” approach to divorce and towards faithfulness, commitment, forgiveness and reconciliation. While marriage is worth fighting for, Jesus also calls us to respond to brokenness with truth and grace, offering hope, healing and restoration rather than shame.
